when darkness fills my day...

Pain

The anguish I feel
tears at my soul
Life at times
is so cripplingly bad
there is hatred everywhere
cruel lives attack those
who live for the joy
of simply living.
their lives are destroyed
in a blink of time
with acts of such horror
and unthoughtful malice
that to think of them
makes the stoutest heart shudder
and the strongest man cry
A life so awful
cannot be born alone
in solitude
with only thoughts
to pass the time
it must be shared
or worse will follow
as slowly,
remorselessly
days become darker
nights become longer
more oppressive
heavy on the mind
weighing down on hope
suppressing it
crushing it
until it dies
and when that happens
life dies too

TOUCHES

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person. When someone is in your life for a REASON,it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a god send and they are. They are therefor the reason you need them to be.Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.Sometimes they die Sometimes they walkaway. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met,our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.Believe it, it is real. But only for a season.LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant Thank you for being a part of my life, whether you were a reason, a season or a lifetime.

For all my friends

It's Been So Good to Have You as a Friend

It's been so good to have you as a friend:
As sweet and rich as honey-colored sun
Slanting steep across a summer lawn,
Gilding life with all that love can lend.
And now that you yourself have griefs to tend,
I want to be the strong and caring one
To count to you the lovely things you've done
Until these troubles pass and sorrows end.
You are so beautiful in form and soul
That you bring happiness to all you're near:
Just as a sea rose, flowering in mist,
Makes a paradise of some bleak shoal,
Turning truth to something far more clear,
No pain unsoothed or rain-swept cheek unkissed.

Experiences in Subject Teachers at JNHS

Learning Hard

There were times that I thought that teachers here in school are not that good compared to other school. I thought that they were just simple as they are. That idea came to my mind when the slow principal administered the school. The principal does not focuses him/her self to the job. I thought there would be no change. The teachers doesn't come early, the students have no proper schedule, the students has no proper uniform and haircut and mostly the principal doesn't come early and goes home early.

The teachers was good of course but there was no organizational harmony among the faculty. It all switched to 360 degrees twist of change with Mr. Jaime P. Ruelan as principal. The rules and regulations were set to good and the school achieved total change and the teachers too were obedient and brought things up with a different and new teaching manner. Its like having there appetite again for teaching. Teachers usually
make there students have difficult and money oriented projects. In math, I don't have any comments but for other subjects they usually have there projects computerized and that made us ask for too much money again. They had thought that it was easy doing it but actually some students usually doesn't agree of what they are doing to us. Sometimes they make decisions that are inappropriate for us. Thus, these experience with subject teachers are very much disappointing.

But actually, I love the teachers even though they commit mistakes. The teachers in Jagobiao National High School are funny, fun to be with, caring, jolly and most of all they are the teachers who prioritize education at its best. Thank you all the teachers of Jagobiao NHS for supporting us through the four years of real pressure. Thanks God Bless!!!

Love life at JNHS

Murdered by Cupid

It all started when I first saw her in first year high school. I wondered and said “she looks familiar” and then it was her that I noticed in Elementary Press Conference and she was from LWES. “Yeah, she’s definitely beautiful”. As time passed, I adored her secretly as I could try.

Then, we became third year students and I tried to court her because my love for her grew. I was not hit by cupid but I’m heinously murdered. My love for her grew even more. Things came to my mind and said “I love you” on Intramurals 2005 because I just have to say it, after that I hurriedly ran away because I was afraid. Then, one moment I courted that special girl.

Suddenly, things changed upon knowing that she had said “yes” to someone already, who was my friend and it did hurt me a lot. Time passed but my love for her is still present. As of now, frankly speaking I do love her and it’s just hard to change it. They had broken up her boyfriend. Nowadays we’ve been with each other and promised to be her after graduation and I hope that she will not go to Dumaguete City for college. She was the only girl that I loved this much. For my beloved “If you only knew that I love you very much and if you only I have the courage to say it again to you” I would certainly ask, “will you be my girlfriend?”

Saddest Moment in JNHS

When I became Blue

“Everything has its purpose”, it’s true. From simple to complicated things everything has its purpose. The universe may be so wide to enumerate it but still it has purpose. Then I knew that this is God’s purpose for me to realize things which I will be experiencing and to stand up when I fell, stumbled down, and failed.

Everything was a test in JNHS. Actually I had sad moments in school. One day, I lost my cell phone and I felt sad. One day, I lost the contest and I felt sad. One day, I lost my important book and I felt sad but all of them were temporary and easy-to-forget sadness.

Losing someone was the saddest moment I ever had. My cute niece passed away last September and it was just a sad fact that I can’t play with her again. I know God had his purpose. On this same school year I experienced the worst and the saddest moment in school. This is when we lost Ian Rey Masagca a close friend of ours.

It became my saddest moment because we lost someone but still he will be in my heart. It was a weeklong sadness and even now I can still remember him and feel the heartache. As for me, I just imagined him traveling around the world or anywhere else by that I can still feel that his not away from me. Everything has its purpose if only I knew that he was going to die I better hug him tightly. Even I can’t see him in my horizon, I know he’s happy with God now.

Happiest Moment in JNHS

We’re All in this Together

When I was just a freshman I never imagined that I could be happy at Jagobiao National High School-that’s my school. There were many bad comments about the school and I thought those were true. They say there are lepers in school and that made me upset. Actually, things changed and I know now those comments are far from true.
I love my school now and forever because it brought me thousands of reasons to be happy. I can’t explain the feeling but I’m still happy. I was happy because I earned friends whom I will treasure. I was happy because the teachers believed in me and my talent. I’ve gone to many places like Siquijor, Dumaguete, Toledo and even Manila and it brought me real happiness. Meeting other students was fun too.
As of now, I’m proud to say that my happiest moment in school was when we presented our stage play entitled “High School Musical”. It was our own version of the movie. It became my happiest moment because all of our hard work was put into remarkable success. We really had months preparing for it. I noticed that everybody was giving there best and we became so happy at that time with so much love, teamwork and dedication to present the stage play. The play was really awesome, the best I’ve ever experienced. I will never forget it because the 16th day of February 2007 was my happiest moment in school. We are thankful that we are ale to present a major stage play that made history.

To my alma mater, I hope that the stage play marked the institutions history and I hope that batch 2006-2007 will be remembered forever.

“We will graduate this 29th day of March and of course I hope our graduation will be will be my happiest moment in school and it is yet to come. Just have to say farewell to the institution that served as my second home for four years. It’s just really hard to say goodbye, I love you and farewell my alma mater.
